Our Projects
Turn the Tide
This project is a week long workshop style intensive for young people aged 13-18 to explore creativity, take ownership over their art forms and devise a completely new, original piece of theatre. Through working with our core team, and guest artists, the participants will explore spoken word poetry, dance, movement, and music with no prior experience of any art forms needed.
We are looking for passion and a drive to explore new things in a welcoming and safe environment! We also have a limited number of places for anyone interested in behind the scenes elements such as costume, tech, or set/stage management. The week will be held at The Vale in Mossley from the 24th-28th August, with the performance we create being shown to an audience of family, friends, and the public on the Friday evening.
Beforehand, we will be running taster workshops, from which we will create our company of young people. This is not an audition process, rather an opportunity to meet everyone and for you to decide if you would like to take part.
If you enjoy the arts and being creative, and want to try something new, we would love to work with you!

BEAV: Beginnings
Beginnings is a 30-minute multi-disciplinary performance, created by young people, built solely on our own original material. Taking elements of our show from October 2025, this episodic-style show explores a myriad of themes that all come from the experiences, interests and passions of the group. Featuring music, movement, dance and spoken word, the piece stands as a juxtaposition with traditional theatre pieces, introducing unorthodox elements like world carnival music and dance. This show provides a thought-provoking, emotional experience woven together by the themes of discovering your voice and a celebration of youth.
Between Earth and Voice 2025
In October 2025, we performed the first version of BEAV, an episodic style show which was tied together with the passions, creations, and ideas of our team of young people. Through art forms such as spoken word poetry, movement, and world carnival music, we explored themes of feminism, youth voice, love, connection, isolation, and hope. We had over 100 audience members attend this show, which was hugely important for us and a company and the work we want to create within and for the community, bringing people together to experience the arts in Tameside.
